Advance Paris, Creator of emotions
Advance Paris is a story of passion, passion of this job of creator of emotions, shared with a team working so hard in the quest for perfection. Created by two music enthusiasts more than 20 years ago, Advance Paris – at that time Advance Acoustic – designed its first speakers based on three fundamental points: the cabinet, the speakers and the crossover.
At this day, this initial orientation remains more than ever relevant.

The cabinet
Our high-end philosophy naturally guided us to the cabinet makers known for their seriousness and professionalism.
Making cabinet is a much more difficult task than it seems.
The structure of the housing must be homogeneous and completely rigid in order to eliminate the parasitical vibrations disrupting the music.
That’s why, Advance Paris requires all its cabinet makers subcontractors to use high quality materials, so the high density structural panels are no longer in chipboard, but in wood fibers associated with a synthetic binder.
The advantages of these composite panels are their homogeneity in the three dimensions : the possibility of working them in large thicknesses, up to 30mm, their non-deformability (shape-retention) and lastly their acoustic performance superior to conventional OSB or PP panels. Thus, to increase rigidity and machining precision, all the cabinets of Advance Paris’ speakers are made of this composite material.
In order to improve this rigidity and homogeneity, internal reinforcement as well as partitions prevent any formation of parasitical vibrations.
The enclosure volume is carefully calculated as well as the dimensions of the port for each driver used. Finally, each enclosure is subject to an individual sealling control at the assemblies, both at the belt and the front and rear of the cabinet.

Internal dampling
The displacement of the membrane of the bass and midrange speakers spreads in front of and behind the speaker itself, in phase opposition . The use of a cabinet is intended to eliminate this acoustic short circuit. For this purpose, we are using damping materials specifically developed to effectively treat these stationary waves. Their usage patterns are precise, so for each model, our designers determine the positioning, density and volume of the acoustic foam used.

The speakers
The design of our speakers meets a very precise set of specifications, so our boomers and mediums are treated with paper membranes with serrated frame, both lighter and rigid for greater sound neutrality. The use of a “reversed half-roll” profile suspension makes it possible to optimize the linearity of the frequency response of the loudspeaker.

Indeed with this type of structure, the profile of the membrane is not disturbed by the final presence of the external suspension. The improvement results in the absence of any phenomenon of accentuation of the energy at the level of the natural high cut of the loudspeaker. Thus, this configuration makes it possible to implement a filter with a low slope and a minimal phase shift. The moving coils made of pure copper are mounted on a kapton support. For greater gentleness and lack of aggressiveness, tweeters have either plastic membranes or impregnated fabrics. The moving coils are cooled in ferrofluid.

The crossover
If an extreme care has to be taken for the cabinet and the speakers manufacturing, the crossover will determine the final result. Advance Paris has developed a precise and rigorous filtering technique respecting the electrical and acoustic phase. The choice of the best components, air coils, polypropylene capacitors, precision ceramic resistors, non-radiating positioning of the components between them, judicious cutoff frequencies ensure a perfect sound transcription.

KC600: simply refined
The KC600 is a column speaker of the new KUBIK KC series. It takes the philosophy of our KC-800 flagship but in a smaller volume. It is a 109cm high column speaker equipped with 4 speakers, 2 17 cm boomers associated with a 17cm medium and a 25mm dome tweeter.
With a performance of 91dB for 1watt / 1m, this speaker is easy to “driver” and may be associated with an amplifier with a power of 20 to 150W.

X-L1000 ADVANCE PARIS

X-L1000 ADVANCE PARIS

Advance Paris company, designing and developping Advance Acoustic products, decided to launch its Hi End range of products, under Advance Paris brand, as the company name.

X-L1000 loudspeakers are designed and assemblied in France by Advance Paris’ technicians. Its design, only based on acoustics rules, allows to obtain pure, modern and elegant curves

X-L1000 loudspeakers provide a perfect  reproduction of instruments and voices. Their harmonic richness and the follow-up to the rhythm, give perfectly the feeling of presence  and realism. These parameters, are only some of the exceptional qualities of the X-L1000 loudspeakers.

The MDF cabinet is built in 3 independant boxes, which walls  can reach 4 cm thick.

The boxes are linked by separations of decoupling, ensuring a complete control of vibrations. The location of the drivers was calculated in order to achieve the best phasing.

We designed the X-L1000’s drivers, in collaboration with an european manufacturer specialised in audio professional. These drivers combine excellent performance rarely achieved.

Woofer and mid-range are built with  a cellulose pulp membrane. Rigid and lighter, these are associated  with very powerful magnetic circuits. For example,  the woofer  30cm in diameter has a voice coil of 10 cm in diameter. Its magnet, 22 cm in diameter, provides a magnetic field of 1.17 Tesla !

The sound transparency and the absence of directivity make the mid-range driver, one of the best transducer at this time to reproduce  music with realism and precision.

The ribbon tweeter reproduces high frequencies with low distorsion. Moreover its frequency response makes it ideal for the mid-range  driver, coupling sweetness and dynamic without aggressiveness.

The crossover elaborated with great care, divides into an ideal way the different frequencies, found in the musical message, towards all the drivers. Due to its perfect control of phases, the different drivers reproduce the music with consistency and coherence.

Moreover, with a sensitivity of 98 dB, and an impedance of 8 Ω, the X-L1000 loudspeaker can drive amplifiers from 10 to 800 W.

Designing the X-L1000 loudspeaker, our aim was to achieve exceptional loudspeakers, without compromise, and working on several parameters often neglected or contradictory.

Real « Quest for Grail », maybe Advance Paris, find it with the X-L1000 loudspeaker !

WTX-StreamTubes

WTX-StreamTubes

THE ART OF STREAMING

What could be nicer than the sound of vinyls? this ability to make music more lively, less aggressive and truly «warmer».
Achieving this result seemed possible to us by combining several technologies and design.
That’s what we did ! We have sought to obtain this sound from current dematerialized sources.
After various prototypes, it turned out that the use of subminiature 5703 tubes was the ideal solution, so we designed a class A tube output stage which brought «the magic» of vinyl. The resulting sound reproduction is astounding, respecting the requirements of audiophiles and recalling the warm musicality that vinyl lovers cherish. The WTX-StreamTubes is a WiFi or ethernet network player, it integrates many streaming services like Spotify, Qobuz, Tidal, Deezer, Amazon Music, etc., several thousand local, national and global radio stations via TuneIn or vTuner, the playback of your nightclub stored locally on yourcomputer, smartphones, tablets or network drive (NAS).The StreamTubes is multiroom which allows it to send a different or identical audio source to each room. Airplay and DLNA compatible. The WTX-StreamTubes has a proprietairy Bluetooth port.
You will be able to connect our Bluetooth Direct Digital X-FTB01 or X-FTB02 HD dongle via its proprietary port.So enjoy the warmth of tube sound from your Bluetooth sources.

Raythean 5703 subminiature tubes are mounted on a fixed insulating support.
